Paramount has it all
Setting: During the movie 'Insurrection'
I've often wondered what precipitated Deanna's infamous 'boob' joke during
the movie Insurrection. Having never read any other stories regarding
this....this is an inexcusable lame try. It was much harder than I thought.
And perhaps going with a 'dialog' only scene made it even more difficult. And
yes...thats a first for me as well.
Its a shame Data had to bugger up the moment, as that was the hardest thing to
write in!!!!
"So...how'd you do it?"
"Do what?"
"Don't play innocent with me, Deanna Troi! You know exactly what I'm
talking about."
"Beverly--I haven't the faintest idea what you mean."
"The beard! How did you get him to shave the beard?"
"Oh, that? He, umm...said he just felt like shaving it off."
"And you really expect me to believe that? And here I thought
Betazoids never lie."
"I'm not lying!"
"No? Then why is your face turning beet red?"
"Must be the metaphasic radiation."
"Mmhmm."
"Beverly...do think once we get away from this place, we'll go back to the
way we used to feel?"
"If you mean our bodies returning to the same physical shape as
before...yes. But if you're referring
to the way you feel about Will, no."
"Darn. I think I could get used to the idea of living here."
"I'm sure we all could. Sorta fun feeling like a teenager again,
don't you think?"
"Its had its moments."
"I'll bet."
"Beverly, you're prying."
"Me? Never. I just happen to believe that our Commander minus one beard
equals one pleasurable moment for the counselor."
"Two...moments."
"Two times? Deanna, you were only off the bridge for one hour! This
radiation is affecting us more than I thought!"
"Yes, well...I'm not so sure I'll be complaining. I've noticed our
behavioral changes as well as some...certain physical ones too. Have you noticed
how your boobs have started to firm up?"
"Not that we care about such things in this day and age."
"Uh-huh."
"Thanks Data."
"Yuck! Too bad this radiation can't freshen up these rations!"
"Yes. I don't suppose they are as tasty as the commander....now, are
they?"
"Beverly!"
The end (only cuz the fighting that followed prevented any further dialog)
